All my life I have been fascinated by the repetition of forms and how they fit into space; in front of, beside, behind or through reflections of each other, and the importance color plays in their juxtaposition. Currently I am working on a series of abstract watercolors using a similar limited color palette – but never the same line quality or design. The challenge becomes very obvious after completing fifty or so paintings – the more that ideas are explored, the more territory opens up, generating the realiziation of how much more work there is to do. Every element of the

composition becomes vitally important. I also find much to explore through the manipulation of varied materials; for example, combining encaustics with other mediums, or making imaginative constructions from found objects. I will

always create art. Art is what the mind sees and what the eyes think.
